2013 Polaris Indy Handwarmer Issue

Hi all. One of my handwarmers doesn't work. The other is hot as heck. Thumbwarmers work fine also. I've looked at wires and connections and all seem fine. Ideas?

Element burned out or wire broke. I had one quit on new sled with 100 miles on it.

unplug the handwarmer and use a multi-meter to check if the hi/lo has any resistance. My guess is the element broke and the wires pulled off the element at the solder joint.

not to hard to replace. Cut'm off and slid on the new ones.

Follow the wires coming from the grip to the plug, unplug and test to make sure you have 12+ volts at the plug, test the element with an OHM meter. As mentioned above it's probably the element.

That machine has a heater element under the grip, as do most Polaris models. Remove the grip, without damage if you can, and wrap the new element around the bar. Element is about $30.00 and grip is about $10.00-$15.00 depending on model.
