wondering what other people are getting with the 13 polaris 800 are getting for fuel mileage. best ive gotten is 10 mpgs.... thats normal ridding. im not to impressed for dealers saying how they mpgs are gettin better and better. i got that with a 98 700 triple. i bought the sled new and did what the break said about adding oil in the tank and so on. i got a 1000 miles on it now with no better fuel milage since the first tank that was run through it. not a speed guy but i never saw over 90 mph either. it has a lot of juice but runs out quick on the top end. looking to see what other people are getting out of the 2013
SLED: 2013 800 PRO-R 121" track
10.5 -11 M.P.G. pretty hard riding
bud was with me with a 2013 SKI-DOO 800, we were burning the EXACT same fuel over a 1,000+ mile trip this past 4-day weekend from Minocqua to Copper and back around.
On the last trip I was runnin' with my other bud's 2012 600 Switchback, he was getting only slighter better mileage than my PRO-R 800.
Oil usage is crazy low, 80:1 ratio
Been adding oil to the gas until I can get the around to increasing the adjustment on the oil
1,574 miles so far on the new sled
96 MPH was top speed when new
108 M.P.H. now after break-in (Still runnin' some pre-mix and the RICH fuel program ETHANOL mode)
My PRO-R 800 Inched away from my bud's Dyno-Port piped & clutched 2013 Ski-Doo 800 on top (his speedo showed 112 M.P.H.), ran away from the other bud's 2011 A/C Sno-Pro 800
It's your call, but I heard mileage increases when you run in the NON-ETHANOL mode (leans out the fuel by 5%, BUT proceed with caution, read your plugs & piston wash and make your own determination)
BTW, which fuel mode is your sled set on????
On an interesting note, first days ride, my odometer showed 258.9 miles, other guys at 277+ miles
