Let me know if you have any luck finding the info! I've tried before, but not too hard.

I spent a couple hours today looking for the stats - including going to the major 4 manufacturers web sites looking at their quarterly reports. WOW! are you right, carrots, that it's hard to find this info! I did read an interesting EPA report from 2002. They actually had some accurate information and didn't recommend that all snowmobilers must DIE!

I'm gonna keep looking, tho. Seems silly that this info can't be found!

OEMS are very tight lipped with what they produce & what they sell. Also still like to shove inventory up the butts of dealers & also don't want other OEMS to know which models sell best. Since Yam sells nothing but 4s,Cat & Doo has ample 4s models the overall sales number of 4s is growing quickly. Sooner or later 2s won't be able to meet EPA standards & 4s may need a cat converter in coming years but all good less fumes in the winter air. Very rare for 4s rider to NOT like his/her new 4s so a growing market for sure. Poo had many flavors of 4s models now just the 2ups. I would think a 4s Switchback Adventure would sell bigger than the doo Renegade & GSX for trail riding & Poo has a big hole in their line up for 4 strokers.
