I am looking at buying a 2014 Indy sp. I have read good reviews about sled from snow magazines. I'm looking for feedback from any of you who have ridden sled. Thanks for input.

it is a quick 600. my buds wife has one he rides it a lot around the house. it will hang with my old 07 f8 that had some clutching y pipe and 8 tho off the head to 60 /65 . I have ridden it in the N MN tight twisty trails and it is a fun sled that u can make fly in the tight stuff. dont know what it is but e start with the rebuild shock. he put a 1 3/8 track under it this season. 0 issues to date and he got it mid season the yr they came out.
his maintenance schedule on all his sleds it to pull the cover off in the fall and ride .

I snowchecked one for my wife last year and it is a fun sled! You get a very good motor and the sled is very fast! I think it's a very good sled for the money and they seem to be very reliable.

This was a snow checked machine with electric start. Its brand new with tags still on it. I'm reaping benefits of an unfortunate divorce. I'm going to get it. It's too good of a deal to pass up. Thanks again for input.

It must look like this one then! The snow checked sleds got lots of extras, including the colored seat, red ski loops and A arms, white nose cone, special graphics etc. They are sharp looking too IMO. It sounds like you are getting a great deal. Let's see pics when you get it.

Will do! I'll post a picture after I get it. They also make a pretty cool storage bag rack for the tunnel thats like the proride switchback rack. Have a good one and let it snow snow snow!

If you look close at my pic, I have that tunnel bag. I also got her the handlebar bag, which she uses more often for day to day riding.

That looks good. The owner of sled put a heated shield plug in on the riser block. I like handlebar bag but it would cover up heated shield plug that he added.. The guy also added a 12 volt plug in and the low profile defrost bag that mounts around gauge. That gauge is like the one on sportsman 500.

Hey mspease or ezra. I meant to ask how the 1 inch hacksaw track does. I noticed polaris went to a ripsaw2 track for 2015. Thanks

It does ok, but that is one thing I wish they'd spend a bit more money on. It sounds like they may have for 2015, it was a common complaint in reviews. I will replace it when this one wears out with a 1.25" lug.

my bud switched out track this yr. I have a love hate thing with the 1 in . for tight twisty hard trail they are fun for power sliding the corner every thing else not a huge fan. I ket the 1 in on my f8 but only thing that came out for was groomed trail running so I wanted to power it around the twisty s

I 'm looking forward to the tight twisties. I have a switchback assault that i'm trading in. I use to boondock all the time but wife enjoys trail riding the trails . I was never really crazy about assault on the trails. I can change out track next year if needed. I saw a couple videos of off trail riding with indy sp and it did pretty well. Have a good one!

I haven't ridden the Indy 600, but if I were you, I'd swap the track it out before you ride it. Tracksusa.com will give you money for a trade with a track, or your dealer might too. Unless you're going to stud it, you'll be frustrated with that track. I have 06 Polaris 600, and I rode it with that 1 inch track for quite a few years before switching it out. I went with the 1.25 predator and wish I did it on day 1.

Thanks for that idea. I will check with dealer .

I'm surprised they still skimp on that track. Everything else on that sled is supposed to be top notch for the price. The only thing I can think of is they are using it to keep the steering as light as possible.

really the thing is built as a trail sled . 95% of the snowmobile trails in the Midwest are hard pack and a lot of the time icy. for those conditions the track is perfect .now if U trail ride the north shore the UP northern WI than yes trails are softer sugary snow . but I think they are going for cost as part but built for the majority of trails IMHO. I like a short lug track no studs on hard pack twisty.

For 2015, the snow check Indy LE has the 1.25" Ripsaw II track. Non snow check units still have the 1". The other item I wish they'd upgrade is the fuel gauge. They have the old style float gauge from years ago. I guess you have to cut where you can to get the price point they want. I remember when it first came out as the Shift, they didn't even have a thumb warmer. Great sled for the price!

The 1'' Hacksaw is a very good track for the trails...add 96 studs and even better. At least they went with the Hacksaw over the OEM 1''...those are junk. I would ride it as is until it's time for a new one then upgrade. The LE a sharp looking sled and you'll be happy with the Indy. It has the fun factor you are looking for.
