2015 Ski-Doo Renegade 600?

Looking for some feedback on this sled from people in the know. I sure like the price point on the closeouts. Keep in
mind I'm not able to get many miles on per year, so not looking to invest a boatload of cash. Looking for something reliable,
comfortable and 1/2 way decent mileage. To show you how much I ride, I currently run an 05' Polaris XCSP 700 and just turned
4,000 miles. Looking at the 137 cuz' I'm a bigger guy (6'1-270lbs) so also something to factor in. I rode a buddys 13' 600 MXZ a
few weeks ago and really liked the rider forward position. Would like to hear pros and cons.

All honest input is appreciated.

Arguably best bang for your buck sled on the market.

Its a proven engine and chassis. For the amount of riding you do, this or the indy would be a good choice. Really the only cons i can think of is in comparison to the r-motion and e-tec its a little dated. But carbs do have a postive side as you can still trouble shoot them. coming from an 05, it will def be a major upgrade in ALL departments. Given that your 270lbs I would talk to the dealer about some stiffer torsion springs. They may even thro them in on the deal.

"Motion Control shocks", if your are an aggressive rider, you will not want them. If you can bump up to the adrenaline, with gas shocks, do it. The gas shocks won't fade at speed like the non gas ones. And yes you will need the heavy springs. You can always buy it now, and upgrade shocks later. People are always upgrading from HPG to something better, and willing to sell old ones at good price.

I bought one this year paid 8249 50 out the door with tax title license electric start 3 year warranty I liit a I don't use it a lot I have an M 8000 so I need another trail sled for the wife to ride once a year and me to drive around a bit right now it's in the back of the truck heading up the clam lake for the weekend I used it last weekend thought it was fine I may or may not put shocks on it I have a set for the front the garage so they would it cost me anything to put on but I didn't do it yet so I don't know I think the shocks on a car decent if the trails are that bad that I think I need new shocks I'm going home anyways I don't ride that crap it's bad enough having to ride trails let alone be miserable doing it for the price you can't beat it I know some magazines called it best bang for the buck of the yearthe motor is bulletproof I think probably well arguably the most reliable skidoo motor outit's plenty quick for a trail flat I was riding last weekend with a brand new Gade 800 a brand-new access and Iron Dog none of them lost me in the and up to about 80 on the lake there was all good after that the 800 kill you obviouslyI weigh about 190 coming out of the shower so whatever that is loaded with gear I don't know I don't have his pension set up on the 5th and spring rate yet and don't plan on selling it any higher so take that for what it's worth I will give you more feedback this weekend cuz I probably putting on a few hundred this weekend

Friend bought one at the beginning of the season and I've put some miles on it. Darn fine sled! Ride seemed AOK to me but I only go 205 and my friend is about 170 dripping wet.

I have an eye on this sled for the same reason as you. Friend of mine has had numerous sleds with nothing but many trouble free miles from that engine. Light sled, good power, and fuel ecom. 137" by 15" should be perfect. Ezra will give good feedback.

well I put another hundred seventy miles on it this weekend I'm still not regretting thebuy. I would say it was 50 50 Trail and single tracking in the woods . once again I was riding with a brand new Iron Dog 800 about a month old arctic cat 6000 r short track /rmk and a 13 800 gade with r motion and those ice gathering tings at the rear of tunnel.surprisingly little sport 600 is even with the c tec in a drag race I think a lot has to do with the tracks and me getting the jump but even at that they're pretty darn even across the lake.the trails were in good shape I found bottom of the suspension 5 times total my buddy with the RMK found bottom 3 times the Iron Dog claims he never did the 600 R says he found it once so not bad. the sport found bottom of suspension usually going downhill and then a big divot and backup. I know I would have found it on my M also. I was really liking how well it did single tracking and power lining I was actually impressed. let's not get too excited though it was only about 15 inches of snow in clam Lake but still fun. if thinking about buying one I would say go for it I would buy another one the price is right surprisingly quick handle fine why not

I must have misread this, because if I didn't know better I'd swear that it was a little love thrown Doo's way. Okay, who are you and what have you done with Ezra? :)

j/k.....nice real-world write-up.

I can tell you that shocked the s*** out of me when I lined up against that Kitty 6000 R I had to give the doo props where it was due. I still think it has a lot to do with the 137 track getting the jump on the short track with notched weights he was getting some spin on all starts.but top and was pretty equal I saw at 87 miles an hour hammering down a long way across Lake Namakagon below zero.she gets to 75 80 pretty quick then peters out .I'm not going to lie I checked my a arms and looked over body pannel fit every night after going through the woods I had some hits that were questionable.I do have a bent bumper from a not really big tree it did pick the front end up a little bit when I was going over but I know it wouldn't have bent my kitty's. even with the handlebars filled with spray foam the warmers still kind of suck not bad but not great. if you can keep her at around 6000 rpm or more they do well

I did not find it to be the case it could use some real carbide but then I am use to riding sleds with no coupler blocks . but I spent some time on the iron dog back to back with the sport cornering did not differ much. the dog was deff more fun corner to corner .

Seems like a lot of sled for that $. I wish Poo would put a 136" on the Indy but they probably want you to buy that whale tail thing instead.
