2015 zr 5000 lxr HELP!

So finally got some snow in NW IL got the sled out went about 1/4 mile after letting it warm up. temp light not flashing anymore so good to go, or so I thought! only have 1250 miles on it which have been trouble free! I was running 25 went to turn got out of throttle dies …Start and backfires. won't stay running but will start. after about a 15 minute wait she runs enough to get back to shed. However when i let off throttle died again in trying yo get into shed! Warranty on motor just expired 11/30. I think gas is okay I stored it as suggested in owners manual. Plus nothing different than have done 2 prior seasons! Frustrated as we know these things aren't cheap!
Any ideas if someone has had an experience like this with an Arctic Cat 4 stroke?
Thanks!
WILL DEF CALL DEALERSHIP TOMORROW ALREADY LEFT MESSAGE!

Mike-
when I had my oil and chain case oil changed the mechanic told me there was a mouse nest in the nose of the hood but he cleaned it out and no wires were damaged at least that's what I was told at that time.. Now that could be a possible scenario for my issue also think could be moisture in fuel, dealership is taking sample…Good thing about taking it in now is there is snow so they can test ride it when they make changes. Was told they would hook up to computer and also sample the fuel…

I don't think it's any thing major because it starts and idles fine. Problem is rapid deceleration! Anyway, I asked about warranty and was told it was up to CAT? I did this to see where they stood? Was told they would try if it was a warranty issue but ultimately up to CAT?
Guess we will cross that bridge if we have to come to it. I will not violate any forums rule and mention the dealership and to be fair they have treated me well when I have had to use them…which has only been 3 times for routine service. They have ALWAYS given me a percentage off on clothing and accessory purchases which I had done numerous times. If they will not stand behind their products I WILL make sure people know plus I have sent them numerous people for service, and you know what they say about word of mouth, plus they will loose me as a customer with ALL future purchases INCLUDING service! I get the warranty has expired, BUT ONLY 4 days!
If it comes to me having a bad experience with them and CAT…ALL the people I come in contact with snowmobiles will know about my experience. I might even talk to other CAT dealers, although I did not purchase from them..
Hoping this is all for naught and it is something simple!!!
HERE'S HOPING I'M NOT LIKE THE GUY WHO HAD TO SUE..AS KIP STATED…SHOULD NOT HAVE COME TO THAT!

It could be fuel but doubt it in a season unless it sat early in last season with ethanol fuel in tank. You may want to unplug kill switch and see if it will run OK. Should be a connection under handle bar padding to unplug. Have had kill switch issues with several of my cats.

I had my 4 stoke do the same thing, it ended up being that the throttle cable was routed wrong and when I turned it would shut off and spit and sputter because the tight throttle cable messed with the safety switch and every other time I turned it would act up. something to think about?

well not that cheap 1 hr diagnosis riding checking it out (shop rate $75 per) $20 bucks for plugs....which I thought would be more ($13 each) several sites I looked up....Anyway $100 which I guess could have been something else and cost a lot more?!!!
