You need to take off the bolts (duh) then take the two torx bolts off the bottom of the belly pan plastic below it, so you can push that down while rotating the bottom of the cover forward on the jackshaft....
That's my sled and I watched the whole process and he was like a surgeon. It wasn't his first time doing it. Way too much work just to change the chain case oil, but nobody I'd rather have do it than Steve.
I use an electric pump to suck the oil out for a change during the season. Post season I’ll pull it all apart and thoroughly clean it. But yeah, it’s a bit of a job that’s for sure!
