2020 Chevy 2500HD Pickup Gas Going Through Oil

29,600 miles and has a dip stick and it was dry. My last 5 GM trucks never went through oil!!

.y last check ever was a 05 and they. Continually told me a qt every 1000mi was with knowing gm spec . Yep they would tell me that with a straight face. In fact they blamed me for not checking the oil more often on a brand new truck when it was 3qt low on its first oil change . Mexican junk never never again .

They told me it could go through 2 quarts between oil changes. lol

Had a 3/4 ton Ford gasser 5.7 litre triton that used atleast 2 quarts of oil between changes and I was told that the consumption wouldn't even be considered for warranty until it reached 3 quarts between scheduled changes, off the oil subject I had a cylinder head go on the same truck and they tried getting out or warranty by telling me it wasn't a lubricated part of the engine, yeah... that didn't go so well as I informed them nicely that I wasn't joe blow idiot and going to fall for that. Still a Ford guy through and through
