Arctic Cat Demo Rides at WCDC
Arctic Cat will have 12 new 2024 model snowmobiles available for demo rides at the Derby Complex this weekend. While the races on the oval track have been cancelled for safety reasons, the demo rides will go on as scheduled. With the large snowfalls predicted for the week, riders will have the opportunity to ride the new sleds and experience them firsthand. No advance registration is needed, just bring riding gear.
Arctic Cat is introducing their new 2024 Catalyst chassis platform in a completely new and different engineering design promising “The ride you have been waiting for,” that has been well received by the snowmobile press during their testing and riding.
Snowmobilers wishing to preview the 2024 line from Arctic Cat can take the sleds for a demo ride on the Derby Complex grounds and then out onto the county trail system for a few miles. The rides start at 10:00 am on both Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 25 & 26, 2023.
Also happening at the Derby Complex on Saturday, Feb. 25, the kids will race on the “Mini Ice Oval” which is a newly created and enlarged flat track located on the northside of the Expo Hall. These W.K.S.R.A. (Wisconsin Kids Snowmobile Racing Association) kids put on a great show and mimic the adult racers with enthusiasm and excitement as they compete in several classes.
Parking and admission are free for the weekend for both the demo rides and the kids’ races. The Derby Complex is located at 1311 North Railroad Street (Hwy 45 North) on the north side of Eagle River.
