Well I officially turned the heat on in the man cave this morning. Seems I get no relief, A/C & under ground sprinklers ( which I just shut off yesterday ) to save a few bucks right to turning the heat on in the house & cave this morning ???? Even the dog started her fake " shivering " when she wanted back in !

Pretty funny. One of ours pulls this trick - and adds a paw lift just for emphasis.

This is the time of year when I've seen the A/C run during the day and the heat at night. It's also the time of year that, between the migrating geese and the brisk mornings, it starts to sink in that the seasons are really changing. I was out in the yard the other morning and I swear I could smell fall in the air.

I have several upgrades/repairs planned for "the fleet" this year that I just haven't been in the mood to do during the tropical months. Now I'm thinking I better get it in gear....

Yep, I played golf early sunday morning. I was wearing shorts and a tshirt. Everyone else was wearing long pants and sweatshirts. I'm loving it. It was 45 degrees here the last 3 mornings!!!!

I just got out the electric blanket and threw it on the bed. The chihuahuas thanked me and crawled underneath(so did hubby)

Yep, haven't fired up the outdoor woodburner yet. Keeping warm in bed with my thermal heating Doberman when hubby isn't around. She has really takin a liking to the waterbed! Even the setter/retriever mix is sleeping with his nose up his butt!
