3-28 ride in the Keweenaw

Had a great ride on Saturday, started with gas in Allouez and headed north going through Phoenix, Eagle Harbor, Brockway Mountain, High Rock Bay, then back South. Trails were amazing, many were untouched, and perfectly smooth; The groomers did an awesome job!!!

wow! thanks for the great posts and pics,
people (including me) hang it up in mid march but north of the bridge is almost always good past march
I did ride April 11,12 13th last year but normally I hang it up early -
and I'll bet you met about 10 sleds or less?
I am putting in for vaca now for the last week of march -2016

I can't verify north of the bridge but I spent the last 4 days riding in Munising, Newberry, Paradise and Grand Marais area and it was just as good if not better. I will try to post some pictures latet.

Trails up by copper harbor did not look like that towards the end of the day and lac labelle and gay trails never saw a groomer at all but was still a good last ride

Temps to start the day were below zero but quickly rose well into the 30's by afternoon, I was done around noon so definitly got the best of it. I drove down to Hancock that afternoon and things were melting quickly! That fresh snow late in the week really helped, it was much better than the weekend before as we had rain that Friday which froze everything up really good on Sat. Great ride to close out the season! With all the thawing that went on after the first weekend in March we were pretty fortunate to get some decent riding in.
