Radio station calling for 3-5” tonight through Monday, then getting colder. Finishing up my outdoor work today. Could it be?

As of December 2nd, we've got near 2' here in the Banana Belt of the Keweenaw, probably near 3 feet in the higher terrain.

I will admit indy your post with snow potential got me all fired up and sometimes i think those maps can be more for entertainment purposes than anything, not to mention lake effect very unpredictable, am just very happy it came through! now let's keep it coming!!!

I do recall some mister named Mezz that told me we wouldn’t see anywhere close to the totals that I shared on here :D
I have always been conservative in the snowfall outlook, especially that far out. I certainly could not hold onto the totals that were being forecasted that far out & did not expect what we received. I look at it this way, I would rather be an underachiever as an amature in that area as I am not a meteorologist & will never claim to be. John was on the conservative side with a hook, he truly had the knowledge & a knack, something that I nor any of us will ever possess. I would like to think that I got some of it right at least.

While I do agree about forecast models far out in advance (10+ days), when I posted the totals it was only a handful of days out ore less, and both models were dead on in agreement, which is rare, so my optimistic mind said, get ready, it’s comin!!

They were telling us a trace an inch down here....we ended up with 3-4 with another inch of power on top of that...My mom's place up by Lac Du Flambeau, had a good 5-6 inches....with another 2" of fluff on top of that.....it was nice to see after how we started last year, but the lakes aren't safe yet, and lots of open water in the swamps....we are building ice...but not there yet....looks like a warm up with some rain Sunday into Monday....hope they are wrong...I guess we'll see
