Pretty big system, we got like 5" overnight, still good rain coming down. I got rained out on a milling job. Mills usually run in the rain, keeps the cutting teeth cool. Lightning shuts them down, looked like the heavy lighting was half way across Wi.

I dont' think we have got a tenth of an inch yet.... Watched the radar since 4am and it just broke up all around us. Funny how that works...

That's what happened to us last winter with the snow, half the snowfalls the year prior also. They say a watched pot won't boil, maybe that's what hsppened. Too many people watching the radar.

6 inches 40 miles south of me. Way too much at one time. They are blaming Obama.

I have been waiting all day for it to let up so I can go and toss some wood in the boiler.

Might have to call in the Air National Guard to air lift me in now.

I don't want to jinx them, but it sure is looking good for corn farmers around here this year. Should be sweet, juicy, cheap Minnesota grown corn before too long.
