Sold our 3 place open trailer. Still have a 2 place enclosed - may sell that or keep it, not sure yet, as sometimes we just go up with 2 sleds. Trying to figure out what the best option is for a 3 place enclosed. The first priority is finding something easy to pull. Not concerned about having something you can walk around in - would give that up for ease of driving. We all have short tracks but obviously sleds are getting longer, and we could have crossovers in the future. Not that concerned about having room for a 4th sled. Are those capped Floe trailers that are relatively short (height) a good option? Do inlines pull a lot easier than the regular 101" wide trailers, even if they are longer? Vehicles we tow with would be a 1/2 ton Tahoe, 1/2 ton Chevy 4.3, and a newer 4 runner. Probably would keep the sleds in the trailer during the season and then likely store them out of the trailer in the off-season.

We went from a 4 place enclosed Floe mainly because of the height. Our new sleds just fit in the trailer and were impossible to break free once they froze down. Couldn't pick them up without removing the windshields. Went with a 3 place in line and love it. Don't notice any difference in fuel milage either even though it is 6' interior height. One thing I don't miss about the Floe is it never failed that I was hitting my head on a regular basis, and the front "gull wing" was always froze down and had to be spudded or hammered free. Also don't miss dragging the ramp from the rear to the front to unload.

I had an enclosed three place inline. 18 foot box with a 5 foot V. You can run three sleds straight in. You can also get four sleds in if you need to by driving two in and backing two in. I could get three long tracks and a short track in with room for gear. It was 6 foot high. Whatever you get make sure you get electric brakes on both axles and STAINLESS HARDWARE.

I wound up buying a Rance Renegade 4 place 102" wide trailer with the short ceiling option and love it. When i placed the order i only needed a 3 place,but it wasn't much more for the 4 place and now have the option to haul another sled/gear.It will fit in an 8' tall door,it's all aluminum and pulls like a dream. I still prefer the wider trailers to the inlines,as this is shorter but to each his own.
