Why are you changing the plugs?...old 2 stroke habit?

I have 10's of thousands of miles on all my self maintained Yamaha 4 strokes over the years and never replace a single spark plug. Most of them were in the 13-15 thousand mile range as well.

Changing out the oil filter on the Rx-1 and Apex....now that is another story....LOL

Ah, the good old days. We used to change out pistons on XC Pols in parking lots in less time than it takes to take my Sidewinder half apart to adjust the chain tension.

We rebuilt the motor in a 02 rmk 700 in John's basement, including putting the cases in the dishwasher! Good times! Lol
