39 Years Ago to the day

Considering our current forecast I find it interesting that it was 39 Years ago to the day on Monday that the Edmund Fitzgerald sank in an early season Winter Storm on Lake Superior. With the current storm approaching it seems to add a little familiarity. Thoughts and Prayers for the families, here's a couple of links to tell the story.

Storms of November are a Bear up here but you don't hear about it in flatland. A few years ago a big Nov blow with rain then snow knocked out our power in Phelps for 3 days + ....Big trees down everywhere. Good for firewood supply but got crazy without power for 3 days & no flush toilets. I finally went down to the lake to fill toilets with lake water.lol
