I think for many, life has gotten a lot busier than in the past, we all juggle way more things and that cuts into time, for things like forums
they stay away till they have a problem or want to check in on conditions,
so they know before they ride,. if its worth loading up and going!
as NOT wanting to waste the small amounts of time many have to spend on snowmobiling and other hobby's
also the die hards, have learned about all they need so they don't need to ask questions that new guys do, and with the search option, maybe can find there answers by doing that over adding anything!

then there is always some just have nothing good to add, so sit back and hope for something to spark there interest and THEN maybe add some thing!
the world wide web has over flowed with info if you look, too, so NOT a ton of reason to HAVE to start a tread to learn as much now as in the past!

Lot's of sh** going on with the election, Cubs winning the World Series, warm fall......etc. Now that those are over and snow is in the forecast, I suspect things are going to be picking up. It's tough being a sledder when you're in "hibernation" mode for 7-8 months out of the year. Was watching Snow Trails last night and was getting me pumped to do some riding.
Speaking of riding, my normal annual sled trip is usually a small one (4 dudes) + my 2 German friends that come in. This year will be 9 + the Germans and 2 of those are snowmobile virgins. Perhaps that's what all of us on this site need to do is get more rookies into the sport!
SO, I'll leave that as a "to do" for all of you on this forum, how about we all try and introduce some new people to the glorious snowmobiling world??

yea i try every year cuz i ride alone so much..but it just amazes me..i tell old buds i got it all..sleds, equipment, place to stay and cant get them out of their house to try..nuts

Love it here so far but hope to return home next week to some REAL Nov. weather to get the snomo-juices flowing.

your in HI....love staying at the HALE KOA....when I was there it snowed up by the observatory 6 inches....I called for hours trying to rent a sled to ride that area...no luck....but I was there for a short stint only....so if a guy like you was to look for a sled NOW or ship one in....if it snowed...which is highly likely....you'll be one of the only ones to ever sled in HI....cannot believe I am giving up one of my secret bucket list sledding spots ya grasshopper...you military? go hit the hale and show em you id if ya is...go see some shows....body surf the pipeline...go swim to the net at hunama bay and be inches from death....what a rush...love that place...it am gonna be good

10 members online currently, and 31 guests and its 7:30am. I think we just need the season to be upon us to get involved. I am probably one of the worst offenders. Although winter is my favorite time of year, and I talk snowmobiles year round, I neglect checking the forumns in the off season. Too much other stuff going on, and depressing to think about how long it's gonna be before I can get back on my sled. But I'm here now

yep I tried to point that out to em...and it seems it got better a tad....but most don't like to say anything or respond to any thread for fear of being ganged up on or corrected.....not me though....LMAO....aint that right MRBB....LOL......j/k
