5" of snow in Spooner, WI

We received 5" of heavy wet snow overnight! Where the heck was this when we needed it? It is pretty out, but I'm ready for summer, not this! :(

It is very beautiful, that's for sure! rp7x lives a couple miles from me and he had about 6 1/4" over there. I may have measured after it settled a bit. It's down to 4" already.

Yep useless mess after heavy tstorms Sunday night... mucky mess under snow...NBC saying 6-8" Phelps school has a snow day.lol..Ice broke Sunday now this. Ready for Spring ...trails have been closed since last week of Feb in Phelps. Terrible snowmobiling season! Poor Venturenorth still without power & we were out for 15 hours. Venturenorth now counting days without power. Want to live up north and enjoy our 4th multiple day power outage in 8 months:(

3:30 this Monday morning, golf ball size hail hit with storm. Thank God for the steel roof!!! We went thru that no power for days thing down here also WD. On demand generator set now, no more worries. Winter time, and no heat is real bad!!! Before generator, we were afraid to go away in cold weather season, due to I don't like "hard" water!!! I know you had to down on mile sledding this year WD, but how many did you ride????

I can deal with no heat just load up on fireplace insert but lack of water and bathrooms SUCKS. Sled time way down don't know exact mileage don't want to know...lol...estimate 1500 or so... was in Jamacia for wedding for a week and flu 2x then no snow and thaws ,no grooming in Phelps so parked and done by mid February...worst season in 15 years! Not much reason to live in Vilas if this continues. I did like the Segway rides in Jamacia family had to pull me off them since I took off crosscountry thru the mangroves lol.

A good 4" here. No power outage---they buried our lines this summer. If not for that, we would probably have an outage as well.

Holy fire wood batman!! In my new shack I installed a generator plug in the back of the house. then this slick little deal here IMG_20160929_112704633.jpg So all I have to do is flip the main off and the other breaker on and I am in business!!

It was very weird walking out on the dock in 5" of snow and having to brush off the boat. That was a first for me! Before it got dark, all of the snow was gone on the dock and boat.
