560 farmal tractor fuel

Just purchased 1959 560 farmal and want to know what to put in for fuel.Do I use a lead additive?
Do Iuse the fuel without the ethinal and the put lead additive in it? Who KNOWS??

I assume it is a gas 560, we have several gas engines of that era that we use regular gas in, the only trouble we have is if it will sit very long the crappy gas breaks down in the carb. Dont know much about the lead additives.

87 octane non ethanol if you can. Low RPM engines don't really need a lead additive.

Also use a good grade of low ash engine oil. Your local Case IH dealer would have it.
