Hey Dan,
With the Bug bar potentially having no liquor license, I may have to wait til the second week of January (maybe the Magistrate can assist, lol). If the snow is on, I will plan on getting into Houghton on Sunday January 7, 2018 about 1 PM EST for some NFL playoff action then sledding Monday morning.

ok..durphee will be gone prob by sat..ill prob take it easy as im sure ill be wiped out..slimcake supposed to be UP on the 8th..not sure yet..so probably start riding again tuesday 9th..keep me posted

Hey guys. My bud that I was supposed to head up with might not be able to go now. Need to scratch the itch though. Might come up solo on the 7th and then leave on the 11th. IDK. Or could wait till the next week and stay all week. Whats your place looking like Dan? I can get a room somewhere as well. No biggie.

place is open that week 7-11 no sweat..just me..a bud is staying in goegibic that week and they are thinking copper one night..as long as the trail there aint whooped id be in..following week right now is open, but i am waiting for a response from my rv park owner in lower where i steelhead fish..they might be coming..dont know yet..but 7-11 is open for sure

Dan,
I am booked in Houghton, MI arriving Sunday the 7th to watch playoff games; let me know where you are watching the games and I will meet up.
Slim, if you want to do Copper on the 8th while Dan chills, I am game just say the word; the earlier we start riding that day the better (300 miles?).
Otherwise, open to whatever.

went home for a few days but ridden right..its been great..just gotta avoid the traffic and the crowds..will be hitting it more as the weeks go on and guys get UP

havent pushed it wide on str8's..but 85ish on bends..its hard to look down at that speed..dont like to blow wide open this early and risk the sled

when u coming this way?..ill be back for sunday games
