It was a beautiful day to make the 4 hour drive from my home in NW Wisconsin up to Pat's Yamaha in Greenland, MI to pick up my new (well it does have 44 demo miles) 2014 Vector LTX. Kip had posted this sled for sale in this site's classifieds area. I was really hung up on the Gunmetal Blue color even though I had never seen it before in person....only pictures. This color was almost impossible to find and here come's Kip posting the EXACT sled that I wanted! GM Blue and a LTX!!!

The whole deal came together quickly back in early May and I bought the sled sight unseen. NEVER did this before on any of the 15 or so sleds I have owned and I admit to being a bit nervous about it. Kip assured me that all would be good and if there were any problems they would be taken care of. I took him at his word seeing that Pat's has such a GREAT reputation.

Arrived there and was greeted in the parking lot by Kip! Have to admit I was impressed by that being how busy he was! He took me to the sled and I was just blown away at how good it looked in person! Pictures just don't do this color scheme any justice IMO. Not a scratch or anything on the sled...it looked like it was right out of the crate! Kip used a forklift to load the sled on my trailer (I want an enclosed so bad!) and I buttoned it up for the drive home. I hung around for a while shooting the breeze with Kip and Traci (I did get this right didn't I?) about sleds, ZTR's, ATV's and everything else. Just plain GOOD PEOPLE!

If I sound like I am gushing it's because I am. I am not known to be this way but the whole experience with Pat's and especially Kip drove me to this. I will always remember this day thanks to Kip and everybody at Pat's Yamaha!

P.S. I was wearing my Duck Dynasty "HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY" t-shirt underneath the sweatshirt I had on. I wish I had remembered and had Kip take a picture....it was a perfect way to describe my mood at the time.

Nice looking sled. The question is, how many times have you gone out to just look at it? Never gets old.

Wow groomerdriver. I just bought the exact same sled from Donahues in Wisconsin Rapids. Their last one. Same color. Haven't seen it in person yet. Have to wait about two weeks to pick it up. We are heading on vacation and they had plenty to keep them busy and it's not like I can ride it now anyway. Enjoy! Have a 2006 Rage for sale with about 5000 miles on it. Really nice shape if you know anyone looking. Can't wait to try the power steering.......

It's in the garage right now with all the covers, airbox, etc off! Installing a bunch of gizmo's (I like gages, readouts, etc!) on it. A fellow sledder once asked me "how many batteries do you have in that thing?" when he saw all the stuff I had on my 2005 Vector! :)

It's a great looking sled for sure! 5000 miles on an 06? It's barely broke in! I have 16,000+ on my 05 Vector!

I had an 06 Vector that I bought the same time my brother in law bought the 06 rage that I am selling.
Last year I bought his 06 rage and sold my 06 vector with just shy of 9000 miles on it. I bought his with just shy of 2000 mile on it. I wasn't quite ready to spend 10000. + last year and he never rode his so I thought what the heck. Had a great year on the rage though but really wanted to try the power steering so pulled the trigger this year. Bought a left over at a great price. Can't wait to see it in person. Also thanks for the smooth trails!
