It was a beautiful day to make the 4 hour drive from my home in NW Wisconsin up to Pat's Yamaha in Greenland, MI to pick up my new (well it does have 44 demo miles) 2014 Vector LTX. Kip had posted this sled for sale in this site's classifieds area. I was really hung up on the Gunmetal Blue color even though I had never seen it before in person....only pictures. This color was almost impossible to find and here come's Kip posting the EXACT sled that I wanted! GM Blue and a LTX!!!
The whole deal came together quickly back in early May and I bought the sled sight unseen. NEVER did this before on any of the 15 or so sleds I have owned and I admit to being a bit nervous about it. Kip assured me that all would be good and if there were any problems they would be taken care of. I took him at his word seeing that Pat's has such a GREAT reputation.
Arrived there and was greeted in the parking lot by Kip! Have to admit I was impressed by that being how busy he was! He took me to the sled and I was just blown away at how good it looked in person! Pictures just don't do this color scheme any justice IMO. Not a scratch or anything on the sled...it looked like it was right out of the crate! Kip used a forklift to load the sled on my trailer (I want an enclosed so bad!) and I buttoned it up for the drive home. I hung around for a while shooting the breeze with Kip and Traci (I did get this right didn't I?) about sleds, ZTR's, ATV's and everything else. Just plain GOOD PEOPLE!
If I sound like I am gushing it's because I am. I am not known to be this way but the whole experience with Pat's and especially Kip drove me to this. I will always remember this day thanks to Kip and everybody at Pat's Yamaha!
P.S. I was wearing my Duck Dynasty "HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY" t-shirt underneath the sweatshirt I had on. I wish I had remembered and had Kip take a picture....it was a perfect way to describe my mood at the time.
