95 Ski Doo 2up with 583 Liquid Cooled

i am looking to pick up an older 2 up STX with the 583 liquid motor with a little over 5k on it. Any advice or things to look at or for? Appreciate it.

I had a 94 stx 583 with a 2-up seat and reverse I sold a few years ago with 7,000+ miles on it. Never touched the motor or clutches. The 583's are great motors, I kept it clean and kept up on the regular maintenance. Good luck!

I had a 1995 STX 583 I rode for years, added electric start and the wife rode it several more years....a bulletproof sled we sold with more than 6000 miles on it..always ran great.

The sled can be a pain to roll over when really cold as it seemed that the RV engines back then had recoils too small for the motor (my old 670 was even worse)..other than taht a great sled with tons of torque.

I had a friend that would pop the hood and open the secondary clutch,
while it was warm, when he parked for the night so it would pull over easier in the morning.
