96 VMAX Chain Case Oil

What is the correct chain case oil that should be used on VMAX? I have a synthetic 75W 90 on my shelf. I think that is what I used before.

The service manual says "Gear Oil API *GL-3* Sae #75 or #80".

I own a 1996 Vmax600 XT.

The AMSOIL Series 2000 Chaincase Lube is a synthetic 80W gear lube and it will work.

ATF fluid used it for over 15 yrs still do on drag sled but I don't use in diamond drive

80-90 is standard but I've used the 75-90 for the past 10 yrs with no issues...
