A Day to Yourself

What to do when you have a day to yourself at home? I'm mean, not going anywhere, no one's home, all day to yourself! Do ya catch up on chores, read a book or the magazines you haven't, do gardening, wrench on something, watch TV, stay in Jammies :) all day....what do ya do??

Well I have one of these days today which doesn't happen often. I'm thinking at this point jammies all day, magazines I haven't read yet, a big comfy blanket and a nice long nap! Oh and the internet too ;) I'm sure this will change at some point throught my day, but man right now the thoughts that are running thru my head seem to end up at doing nothing :D

That's funny. On the rare occasion this happens, I tell myself I'm just sitting on the couch all day...... it NEVER happens!!! I always end up doing something. Yard work, clean garage, work on sled or boat, clean truck, give dogs a bath, clean gutters or something like that. All of a sudden, the day is gone and I wonder what happend to doing nothing all day??!!

Next time!!!

The last time I had a day to myself, without the wife or kids, was back in the end of October. I spent that time with our fearless leader, John Dee, and a bunch of other great guys(and girls) working on the trails in the U.P.
It was a great couple of days.

As far as a day actually alone, I can't remember one since we've had kids.

Hey Ubee, don't want to steal your spot, but can you point me to a good smallmouth lake in Boulder J? John Gillespie was there last week, and he was nailing some nice smallies. He didn't name the lake. I need some of that action!

Any mud bucket has bass up here. Just starting to move from beds to deeper water.Too easy to catch when spawning so I leave them alone until spawning is done. Just me but I'm not snatching a female off her bed but too many do.

I let my mood decide, altho it will always be something that I enjoy, like...spend a day on the reloader (need those skeet shells), go for a hike (actually that is what I tell the wife but I'm actually geocaching, but she knows that), rest up a bit on the couch or just hang out in the garage straightening things up, treat myself to lunch (if I was in lando probably off to the Black Oak or know that I think of it off for a roadtrip to Greenland and a stacked ham-n-cheese and Henri's)...darn now I'm hungry...
