for those of you that follow the NBA games, this weekend is the All Star game, just wanted everyone to check out my biggest canvas ever, as I painted the floor. I've been lucky enough to have done previous floors for the Final Four, as well as the Olypics. A few collage floors as well, but this was the largest one I've worked on.

haven't really learned how to post and don't have a bird's eye view of the floor, which is the only was you can really see the detail. The side lines were the most detail, but with everyone on the side lines and at the ends you really can't see it very well. Hard to imagine but the cornors where it looks like a streched basketball was 15 1/2 foot spread! Game time is 8:15 on TNT.saw a few views on the NBA web site, and yes I did have spell check, just wish I could have my name on it! Or the cabins!

Nice. We'll be watching. Great time of year to spend some time in LA. You'll have to let us know when your next work of art is on display. Just curious; what do you use to prevent the slippery when wet? The gloss is spectacular, but sure looks like a twisted ankle waiting to happen.

As someone who has witnessed the results of your talent first-hand, this doesn't surprise me but I'm sure I'm not alone in wondering how it all came to be. It's a long way from the U.P. to the NBA All Star game and it's a remarkable achievement. Maybe you can give us a history of this journey.

Thanks

We were at the gay bar last weekend and there was a local guy there that told us he worked for a company that had painted numerous professional sports surfaces.

As you guessed it I'm terriable at spelling. As some may think I painted it in Los Angles, could only wish. The floors are made in Dollar Bay. Unique system check out their web site, Honor Flooring Co. About 9 years ago the NBA and other enities started getting into some real detailed ,blended colors for their floors. The company asked a local automotive paint store if they knew anyone that does airbrushing in the area. I was the only one,so they gave me a try.So when Mike and Paul get custom orders they call on me. I've done 1 hand painted floor ,most are airbrushed. The finish is a poly varnish, which I don't do, I just do the custom work. Hope I will be lucky enough to do future floors for the company. Thank for the intrest and everyone that checked out the floor and this thread!
