What's up with all the dead cams?
I work at keeping mine going and its not that big a deal?
Does anyone even check mine out at the Scottishack?
I run a bright light on it at night so it can be looked at 24/7
I have to wonder if I'm wasting the electric bill on just me?
I know there hasn't been much to watch with this weak snow season so far!
What's the vote? keep it lit up or save the electricity?
How bout you other cam owners get on the ball and get them going again!
Just sayin!

I vote to keep the light on, I'm on at night quite a bit. Haven't been watching cams too much yet. Since no riding yet. Scottishack cam is top "to look at checking out conditions"

you may want to consider a cam with built in infrared LEDs

then u can kill the light

there not real pricey around 100 bucks for a decent one

I definitely agree that there are several webcams in need of...something. Please keep this one going; I am one who views it often, sometimes more than once a day (except when I am on a ride with no access to the JD website). Also need to note here that there are several that do not show current pix. When we JDers look at the webcams we do not enjoy looking at pictures that are not current or maybe even a couple of years old like one in Eagle River right now. And a big "Thank You" to persons who take the time and money to do the webcams.

Thanks for taking one for the team.... as painful as it is to look at without sno-cams we would be in the " dark ages ".... like before the internet !

One of the 1st ones I check daily during the season...followed by Houghton(Ramada's Lot) & then Gogebic(Bergland Bay Bar), even check it in the summer when I need my Yoop fix!!!

Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys! I have 6 streaming cams out all directions of the shack! I wish I could share with you all but it only lets 5 people look at a time on each so I'm afraid it would jam up and I wouldn't be able to look!
I do have an LED light on that JD cam so I'm sure its not too spendy to run!
I will of coarse keep it running for everyone's enjoyment" mostly me" ha ha!
I have a streaming cam pointed at the gas pump at Kruppsmart so I can see if there is a line at the pumps!
Its raining right now so pretty depressing to look at any of them right now!

That's really cool! Too bad we all can't see it.
