For some crazy reason the Illinois Secretary of State decided to lower the trailer registration stickers this year, there was a lot of flack about them going from $21 a year to $121 a year, now they’ve come down to $36 a year for a basic TA renewal sticker for a trailer up to 3500 lbs
Now I can retire with that extra savings ….ha ha

Now if they'd just reduce the extortion on the tolls charged on taking a single axle trailer through their great state to get to WI from IN. Insane.

Now I can register my sled trailer again I’ve been using the car trailer plate the last couple years but they also need to lower the cost of those too

Switch the TA plate to a ST plate and pay a one time fee of $18.00 with no yearly renewal required. The only catch is that the trailer is not supposed to leave the state of Hellinois.
