I am looking to get a new bib/jacket combo and wondering if you guys know of any good deals out there
6-4 and 240 so i will probably need a 2X tall
so far my size has limited what i have found, 1X tall might work but i would hate it to be tight if it ran small
i dont need a sub zero suit or anything and i dont put on near the miles that i used to but i do go ice fishing from time to time too.....
thanks

I guess the only thing I have to offer, based upon my experiences, is that I'd recommend In-Store rather than On-Line. If you're spending that much, it's better to be able to try on rather than guessing on sizes. That, and mfrs. sizes may vary, so again, In-Store may be better depending on your location. Generally speaking, you get what you pay for but the selections are plentiful for what your specific needs are.

I'm 6'4" 245, and usually need tall sizing for pant leg length and sleeve length. Wear 34x34 or 36x34 jeans. I needed to get new gear a couple years ago, tried a few brands on. I don't think FXR has much for tall sizing, and they are on the more pricy side. Klim has some tall sizing, and of course also on the pricy side. I bought Castle pants and jacket, the price point worked for me and the gear is warm enough for me but still vented. That's one thing I look for, has to have vents so it works for a wider temp range. My pants are an XL Tall but are very fitted, I wanted them that way for less bulk. Jacket is also an XL Tall, it has enough room that I can wear a chest protector underneath. Most shirts that I wear are XXL.

Not sure about this one. I'm 6'2", 230lbs. I wear Klim Keweenaw 2x tall bib. I've been very happy with everything. Pricey, yes. I'm sure there's less expensive options, but it treats me well. Jackets, well I've got a collection. My current day to day wear when I'm riding is Klim bibs, Klim boots, Klim gloves, CKX Mission helmet and whatever jacket I feel like putting on. When I first started riding (30 years ago), I wore Carhartt bibs and jackets, that didn't work out well. Now, I never think about or feel the temperature. I just literally don't feel anything. For ice fishing, it's fine, just put cardboard under your feet lol.

My son is selling Klim Keweenaw jacket and bibs 2x jacket and 2x short bibs They run long. Wore it one weekend last year. Lost weight and now too big. $1,000 new selling for $700. PM me and I will give his number.

Look at FXR expedition and Excursion models both for snowmobiling and ice fishing both have fast flotation. FXR has many sizes and have been running sales online. I have the one with the removal hood never ever cold. FXR fast bibs too. Excellent products.
