As Jim Carey said…”so you’re saying there’s a chance”…
YES MAN! There is a very good chance. A change in tide is way over due, as russholio put it, 65 years over due. Anybody can support a "winning" team, us blindly loyal fans will still be there, no matter what because we are exactly that, loyal. I do agree the Fords have not been good owners, but, they are not playing, there paying, eventually things will start to come together. Can't stop believen.....

But they're responsible for putting together a good management team, who is in turn responsible for putting together the team on the field. And for the better part of 65 years, it's been a failure from the top on down. The culture is such that even reaching .500 is considered a success. Can you imagine that mentality in Green Bay, KC, LA, New England or several other towns? I can't.

I totally agree with you, but, they (Ford family) are not going to let go. I do believe that the Lions do have a brighter future than most think. Yes, their record was dismal - again, but, they didn't really get hosed badly. A lot of young players & the team as a whole improved through the season despite losing, again, not by large margins. There is hope, I'm not looking at Super Bowl contention, just a much improved overall season, we'll see what happens. I am a yooper, yoopers are Michigan, thats why I am a fan, not a huge fan, but a fan nonetheless.

I would love to be a fan, they're the hometown team. But I'll never consider it until somebody owns them who truly cares about putting a quality product on the field.

Lions will be better next season and a year ahead of rebuilding in Chicago and Minneapolis. Chicago just traded Mack a generational player for draft choices and unloads a big salary. Lions can split with all North Teams they will be in the mix. GB won’t be as good as last season don’t have money to resign good players. Rogers is great but can’t carry the team as he did when younger. NFL has record of worst to first just look at Bengals. The north will be interesting sooo many changes for the better this year. Draft will be interesting and lots of FAs available. Just have to see how this all plays out.

Are you sure you're not a Lions fan? That's what they say here, every year, for the past 65 years. 🙂

Sure, they could be "better" - - they could win 4 or 5 games instead of 3. But even then, that's still pathetic.

First battle scar Adams traded to Raiders could not afford both Rogers and Adams. Packers need WRs now interested to see how this plays out Rogers doesn’t like Rookies.

Packers offered more than the Raiders gave him. He didn't want to be in Green Bay unfortunately.

Idk the franchise tag pissed him off. Only Adams knows for sure. Rogers ball placement is excellent to receivers that are where they’re supposed to be in time and space. Run the correct pattern get separation and Rogers will get the ball to ya.

Couple thoughts first, with all the concussions that Adams has had it’s only a matter of time before he is done probably will not make his 5 years. Hope he does but reality maybe different. Second on Whitedust’s thought maybe if Rogers decides to show up for the training camps and practices with new players he will be able to make plays. Erin has not practiced in years to start a season so hopefully with 200m soon n the bank the slug will put in some effort to practice and learn the new receivers. Just my thoughts. It is still on Erin’s shoulders and can’t blame anyone else.

Apparently, he really wanted out. It's reported that the Packer's offer was for more than the Raiders and he really wanted to play for the Raiders. The high draft picks are great but I wouldn't expect anyone to replace Adams any time soon. One other thing, of all the previous receivers that have left, none have really excelled. Jordy & Jennings for example never saw the production once Rodgers wasn't throwing the rock. Like him or not, Rodgers makes everyone around him better. Lazard could be his next/best target.

Great quarterbacks make good wide/slot receivers look great; great receivers make good quarterbacks look better. Adams is a great receiver but with Carr throwing to him, it will be interesting to see what his stats are next year. Rodgers will now have to spread it around more which may be good in the long run.

I thought I saw the Pack was 7 - 0 in the last games that Adams has not played. I guess we’ll find out if they can do this over the course of a season. Nice to see they got some draft picks rather than leaving him walk.
