Air-bnb question

First time user of Air-bnb and we made reservations for a cabin in L'ance in February, we made the reservations probably close to a month ago and was told by the (poor english speaking) representative that the owner of the cabin would be contacting us after reservations were made, now I know we are still a long time from February but should I be contacting Air-bnb back requesting follow up on reservations? Haven't done so yet as my first impression and experience with them was less than desirable, and who likes talking to a bad english speaking rep on the other end...Not this guy! Is this how this works? any suggestions from fellow JD'rs would be much appreciated, Thanks! hoping if we like the place we will in future be able to just deal with the owner and skip the middle man, all this stuff is supposed to be for convenience.....far from it IMO

You could open an airbnb account. It would probably confirm your reservation.

If you don't want to deal with that then definetly contact them for a confirmation, I never like surprises with not getting a confirmation.

Hope it works out for you.

I guess I should have checked with the wife first LOL, I guess the owner did contact us via e-mail, everything is all set and paid for, guess I was on a need to know basis LOL. I appreciate everyone's input and again if we like it hope we can just deal with owner from here on out. Thanks again everyone.
