do you start the sled and let the bubbles push out then connect the lines to the carbs and the case??? or is there another way of doing this????

pre-mix the gas , run the sled to purge the air, or if you have time, gravity will do it for you, but it takes a long time. When running, hold the pump arm in the full throttle position to bleed it faster. You do not have to remove the hoses from the manifold if you can see the oil in them moving up the line.

so i can hook up the 4 lines 2 to the carbs 2 to the case with bubbles in the line then run it???? or leave the lines off till oil come out of them then quick hook them up????

If you have the lines off, by all means leave them off to be sure the air is out. I usually use a small feeder tank to supply pre-mixed fuel to the carbs while performing this operation, instead of pre-mixing the whole tank. just put the line from the feeder to the fuel pump inlet(pinch off the fuel line from the tank if you do this or fuel may keep gravity flowing) and run the motor till the air is out. Hook up the original fuel line and your all set. Wouldn't hurt to run a 100:1 pre-mix just to be sure it has time to work it all out for the first tank.

Or if you are up to it, turn the ign. off hold the throttle wide open and pull it over 100 times. That'll get any air out of the system LOL

Or, remove spark plugs, cut off the female end on a 3/8" extension, chuck it up in a 1/2" drill with whatever socket you need, go thru the belly pan to the clutch bolt, hold the pump wide open and let the drill do the work.

I have done this....

I've always thought this is the best way to go.

Verifies that the pump is working and insures all the air bubbles are gone becuase you can see them in the oil line.

If you use an assembly oil with some adhesive additives (any good assembly oil will have them) you could turn the motor over for hours with a drill and never harm the engine.
