Here we go folks, Day One at the Busiest Airport in the world this week. I hope to share something of my experiences each day. My day as a volunteer starts around 5:30, I'm on the grounds by 6 and headed home by midafternoon. Gonna be hot this week with a chance of storms on Thursday. A couple guests had this to say...

“If you are excited about aircraft, and the professional nature and the intensity and perfection that is required to be a pilot, then this is the place to be,” says Rhode Island native Christopher Yaladis, “There is so much to do, to see, to experience, to learn about, there is nothing better, there is no better place in the world to be if this is what you love.”

“I’ve always had an interest in aviation my whole life, and it has always been a goal of mine to come out here, and just never made it happen until this year,” says John Jensen from Richmond, Virginia, “And I was able to bring my son with me, and I think it is going to be a really good experience, and we're excited for the week.”
