yes JOHN you are awesome for understanding all this and knowing it and not giving in to them...it has literally destroyed hundreds of web sits and friendships...I also believe it lead to rob dieing...along with janes death....I tried to warm him many years ago to not sell....he did and got ripped off badly and eventually kilt em....amy north too IMO....you SIR are an island of knowledge in the sea of IDIOTISM....you knew of VS long ago right? I used to spew the warning all the time for many years....still do...but not many listen....and they get breast augmentation ads...which...I am not sure if that's bad or good....LMAO

PS...its because they downloaded your hard drive and emails and google searches there snobuilder and grant...all of them...and your family...and your kids.....LOL

I see no risk with FB. Define "personal information". I signed up with my email, name, city / State.and that's it. And you can make up whatever city, birthdate and not use a primary email. All that can be found thru google or phone book. Not sure how signing on with FB would link someone to my credit card, bank info or other ?

Part of the issue I have, is with them asking for billing statements etc. Facial recognition tools are tied directly to the same database. You could do background checks for employment and credit apps when a person walks through the door. The newer digital cameras are amazing. I have seen instances where FB information has been used on employment decisions. We all make a choice on the information that we knowingly release. I do see the erosion of that line with facial recognition tied to so many databases.

My IT gurus have been covering up their laptop cameras for years. I find it interesting that people in the field cover their cameras.

yup favoritos spot on...I been doing that for like 15 years now...and I also have made my kids cover it up as well...unhooked the one on computer tower....and now you even gotta watch the phone....but since cams are on both sides it needs turned off
