Aluminum welders in Chicago (Western suburbs) area

Does anyone know of a shop that does good aluminum welding? In my rebuild of my R&R enclosed trailer I have found several stress cracks in the frame. This obviously needs to get taken care of. Any help would be much appreciated.

Go to harbor freight and buy a TIG :) if you want a professional welder to weld it for you, they're gonna want an arm and a leg, lucky for me my dad's buddy does all the welding i need for a case of beer.

dont know how far west you want to go, but there is a business is Sandwich IL that does alot of misc. work mostly on snowmobile and atvs. He is very resonable, just got done welding on my r and r trailer. He carries plugs, belts, slides, oil, pretty convenient out here. If you are interested i can get the number.

Leroys welding in Wheeling IL. They have done some alum. welding for me. Seen sled trailers there before as well as semi trailers. If you can't find number, I can look for it.

Two R & R trailers with stress cracks, what model as I have a 2002 R&R two place flip-up enclosed trailer.

Comers welding in Montgomery, just west of Aurora does a fantastic job. On 2 occasions I took a high end BMX bike frame to them and the weld was as nice as the factory and charged me 25 bucks. It's a hole in the wall shop but don't let that scare you. Now it's been a few years so not sure if it is the same welder but for a welding shop, it's a good chance.

The Needham Shop in Kaneville (west of Aurora) is a traditional blacksmith shop. They relocated some of the stake pockets on a triton trailer of mine years ago and did an excellent job.

Second and second those above. Comers and Needham are top rate people. Both a little out of the way. I noticed you're in Downers Grove. Comer's is just west of you not far from route 30 & route 34 (Ogden ave.) Needham's is in Kaneville just north & west of I88 and Route 47. Good luck.

Thanks everyone! Those of you who have had work done on trailers, how much did it end up costing you? I have to wait till after the new year when I get back to work to get it done and was wondering how much it was going to run me.
Legend, it is a 2005 fully enclosed all aluminum 2 place trailer, not sure of the model number but if you need it I can look it up.
Indy, if I would get more use out of it I would love to have a TIG welder. But I don't think my accountant (wife) would approve of the purchase. You will understand someday :)

cat_man_mike,

I have the R&R flip up enclosed trailer, just looked at it last week and saw no issues.
