Amsoil Interseptor in 14 El tirge 6000?

I have a 14 El Tigre 6000 that is approching 2000 miles. Like the sled just fine. Have always ran the C-Tech 2 oil recommended by Cat. Amsoil claim you can run the their Interseptor oil in this sled which would be more convenient as that's what my son and I run in our other sleds. My Cat dealer (who is a Amsoil dealer) says don't do it. I agree with him. If you pour the 2 oils in the cold the C-Tech is like water compared to the Interseptor. I guess my question is is anybody out there running Amsoil in the Cat 600 engine? Talked to several Amsoil people at Haydays and they say it will work fine.

Arctic cat recommends that oil for a reason, obviously it's low temp pour point. 2stroke oil is cheap compared to a cold seized piston. Run what the manufacturer recommends.

How do you like that sled? Have thought about getting one. My dealer has one thats been there for a while and he wants to deal. Sound like that motor is pretty good on gas and oil. Looks like it would be a good trail and ditch sled too.
Just wanted to get an opinion from someone that has ridden one for a while.
Thanks.

on other sleds I say run what u like.
but the c tec is a diff deal and that stuff is thin or what ever u want to call it especially when real cold.

I have had zero issues with the sled so far. No recalls like the new 12 I purchased. It seems like the sleds fit and finish are much more refined over earlier model Procross chassis. I think we are seeing the Yamaha influence coming through. Was told they made over a hundred refinements to the chassis when they colaberated with Cat. Ride is excellent as is handling. I did put a set of dually wearbars on it as it was a little darty with singles.
The engine is strong. Never really did a side by side drag race but seems to run on par with any 600. Oil consumption is about half of a Cat 800. Mileage is a little disappointing, 15ish if you really baby it, like sub 45 mph. More like 10 or 11 up in Da UP hauling the mail at 70ish.
Overall very happy with the sled. Would buy one again.

Hey thanks for the info. I really am thinking about getting it, the dealer seems like he wants to work a deal, so I'm going to see what he says.
Thanks.
Where in Iowa you from?

I'm near Diamond Joe Casino near Northwood IA. Just got back from Hayward area yesterday. Tigger ran great! 2500 miles and counting.
