Animal Shelter??

I searched but could not find. There was a thread quite awhile ago about an animal shelter in the western UP that won a national grant. I am trying to find out the name of it to make a donation in the name of family member. My aunt, who lives in Laurium, mother-in-law passed away recently. She said no flowers but could make a donation somewhere. I thought of that shelter but couldn't think of the name. Any help would be appreciated( name,phone#, website)! Thanks in advance!

There are many Humane Societies around and they all can use financial help/donations. Since this one already received a national grant, maybe there is another one near by that could use your generous gift. Just a thought. By the way, that's awesome either way!
