Two fatalities in MI this last week and several bad accidents, I've been in a depressed mood ever since we got home from the U.P. this weekend.

With the insane amount of traffic it's no surprise the chances of accidents will go up. Sad for sure and honestly if everyone understood how to read the situation (more traffic) and adjusted their riding a little the amount of accidents could be reduced.

High speeds, following to close and Snow dust is a real problem in the UP.

I noticed there was a bad Tree hit on Victoria Road last weekend.

My riding buddy 0f 45 years broke his back this past Sunday morning @ 9:30 am. It seems someone decided to plow out their driveway and not mark it. He was leading at the time, we heard him through the comms say big hole, big hole. The sled is fine, not a scratch but the compression of the hit shattered his L4 vertebrae. We returned to the site a few days later and the banks were tapered down and signs posted. Conditions can change quickly from hour to hour and daily.
