Any flooding in you area?

Creeks and rivers are high here. We live on high ground, so I'm not worried for us. There are a few schools letting out early, a few roads closed, and I even heard of a small bridge washed out within 20 miles of us.

Anyone have any trouble? I hope not.

Let's hope this trend continues through winter!

I'm with you on the trend, been quite the wet summer into fall now.

I've had 4.7" of rain in my guage since last night so far at my place, and it looks like more is coming. You guys are still getting it up in Marathon it looks like......

We assume my wife's car is floating in Arcadia where she works. She couldn't get to where it was parked to check it out. There is a "State of Emergency" in Arcadia.

Any flooding in 'me' area?

Oh you betcha!

After three new high temperature records on successive days this last week (Saturday: 109°F, Sunday: 111°F and Monday 107°F), on Wednesday afternoon a late season monsoon thunderstorm passed through eastern Maricopa, western Pinal and western Gila counties yesterday afternoon, closing State Highway 188 near Punkin Center (≈ 15 miles north of Roosevelt Dam) when a mudslide covered the road with up to six feet or more of mud.

Fortunately the storm bypassed most of the metro Phoenix area, dumping less than 1.5" of rain in Mesa.

See Wild Night of Weather in Arizona, from MyFOXPhoenix.com

Just as well it bypassed my place, as I have seen three hundred-year floods here already — just in the last 40 years!

nothing here in northern twin cities. Sump pump is going off every 10-15 minutes though.

Our fire department brought our air boat down to Owatonna to help out.

The Big Rib River runs through town about 5 miles north of me in Marathon City. I've never seen it that high. The police chief said last time it was bad was in 1990, and then it wasn't this high. Lucky, only about 6 homes or so are in the low area of town that had to be evacuated.

Went to my brother in laws place on the Wisconsin River in Plover, WI to help take the pontoon out of the water this morning. His dock was 3 feet under water and as we where loading the pontoon a boat went floating by with only the top couple feet of the bow sticking out, someone is going to be in for a big suprise.

JR, what crosses 29 there between Wausau and Marathon City? I'm not sure its an actual "river" but it was lapping up on 29 on both sides yesterday when I drove through there. NEVER seen water up there like that, not even in spring thaw......

That was the Rib River, it runs just to the south about 100 yards. Back, years ago before 29 was 4 lanes, the road was lower and the water would run over the road on a flood like this.
