I know... stupid question LOL, pretty sure most of us are LOL Anyways if you haven't seen it yet search 1 cycle 500cc engine that produces high horsepower, has pistons but no crankshaft, found it pretty interesting, hopefully you guys will as well. Sorry for not putting link on this post, im just not tech savvy enough to do so.

Saw that. Actually a two stroke, but they didn't want to call it that because of the emissions stigma. Opposed pistons run on rollers on a ramped squash plate for rotational force.

Thanks for the link to that Gary. It seems to me I've seen this not too long ago, nice concept. I think it would be a great motor for a sled & motorcyle. I don't believe that motor can push a little sports car like the Mazda shown without a supercharger &/or a turbocharger. Nonetheless, very cool.
