Anybody got an EYE for color combo's/designs?? Retaining wall project.

So I got my walls built. Now I am trying to decide what to do with them. The original plan was to stain and seal them. Once they got finished I thought they looked pretty darn good as is. However I am the furthest thing from a designer. I don't have any concept of colors and contrasts. So what do you think? Look ok or do they need some color? I thought it would get to be to much brown if I went with the trim color like what was planned. IMG_20201008_100737951_HDR.jpg

Leave them! They look very BOLD the way they are.

I didn't know you could color them after they were built. Last time I did a wall you chose your color of block - guess its been a few years.

I would leave them the way they are, it looks great. I don't know what you have plans for as far as landscaping, small shrubs, bushes & perennials can dress the areas up as well. Nice Job. -Mezz

Thanks guys. I am gonna leave them as is. Forix block is what they are. Big but not solid so easier to work with. Won't move or heave like those little blocks. I do plan on having some plants/shrubs around in those areas and a concrete patio that will go with that area. Here is another picture. standing closer to the front of the house. slimcake, Looks VERY NICE!! looks nice with color of the house, will stand out and look even nicer once some color from landscaping comes in, I agree with others as well...leave it! looks nice!

Ask a Women..guys don't know poop.
Building between Bemidji and TRF..what a pain in the ***.
After fighting with wife the discussion turned into..whats best for resale.

Thanks guys. Fuji I asked the wife and her friends first. Good to hear from ya buddy. Good luck building! 200 bucks a sq ft?? Anyway I will keep the leaves out by not having trees!! How's that sound?

We are getting tan windows with "Manor" siding color (dark gray) and like the "Board and Batten" you have.
Did you fret over getting the B/B a contrasting color or was it always same as siding? I like the same color, she wants the B/B to contrast.
Anyway, stole your picture to substantiate my claim..looks great monotone (like cars do..). The B/B design is enough contrast without doing a color change too.
