are trails legal to ride on in April?

The easements across private land expire March 31st, so those need to be extended to ride a
"all" trails, even if there is plenty of snow. If they aren't then I think you're limited to the year around ORV trails.

Last year the easements were NOT extended North of the bridge.

From last year the DNR said you can ride any trail that is a snowmobile and ATV trail and be good to go. Just get a ATV map and you are set. I tested last year till April 15th. WE RIDE!!!!

we ride all the time in April, that is if there is snow.

Best riding all year if you ask me. No one up here. I hope to ride in to May this year. Never had any one say it was an issue. Never seeing any one this time of year helps in that department.

we rode on "tax day" last year and hope to do the same this year....

I dont know other area's but in the far western UP you can ride in April...Check out the trail map it shows a area starting on the east side of Lake Gogebic shaded in yellow that you can snowmobile after March 31st. And like the others said it the trail is a year round sled zatv trail like the main trail in Ironwood it's open for riding.

Last year my last ride was on May 9th. Riding gear that day was.....helmet, tec vest, swimming trunks, gloves and boots.
