They are at the Wildlife Refuge Cabins.

Check out the trail cam and you will see the Arctic Cat semi trailer.

Say hi to my dad, Tom Moats who is one of the guys doing the demo rides.

I'm thinking of making a special trip up to try them out. I hope they do more then just one location. Munising would be nice.

I'd like to try one out as well. I know someone that bought 2 of the new ones around here. They got them home and one had a coolant leak. We had about a half inch of powder that day and he took his around the yard. Put it back in the garage because that one was leaking coolant too!

I'm not trying to bash cat in any way here, I'm just saying that buying 1st year model sleds can have major issues, regardless of brand. Heck I think cat finally made decent looking sleds.

I have seen this happen thew out the years on different sleds. The heat cycles loosen the clamps or the hoses compress and relax.Silicone hoses are the worst for leaking when they get cold .

any good sledder would have gone over it even if it is new,no ones fault but your own, best thing to do tighten all hose clamps, then silicone the scew head on clamp, stops them from comin loose.also helps exhaust springs from brakin.remember there all built on assembly lines, anything can happen.my 05 firecat sno pro 600 has 10,000 mi on it with no problems ever.......motor has never been apart, she still rocks!!

Any 'good sledder' is bs. When you buy a $10,000+ machine you shouldn't have to go over it. The manufacturer should have people worth a darn assembling their machines. This is the age of customer service.

That's the truth. I wouldn't even think of going over a new sled. If I'm paying that much money for a sled, it better be ready to go when I pick it up.

I once picked up my new sled on a Thursday evening. On Friday morning we rode from home to the U.P. for the week. Got home 6 days later with 1100 miles on and it never missed a beat. That's the way it's suppose to be.

The coolant leak is coming from two loose hose clamps on the filler neck tube.Very simple fix.

I have seen this happen thew out the years on different sleds. The heat cycles loosen the clamps or the hoses compress and relax.Silicone hoses are the worst for leaking when they get cold .

In looking at a parts fiche, at least Cat is using a standard-type hose clamp on the coolant hoses that can be tightened, unlike some other manufacturer's spring-type clamps.

Easy to check/tighten them if necessary-as long as you can access them.
