Arctic Cat Servo Motor

Are all of the power valve servo motors interchangable?? Say 2001-2009?? I have a 2004 F6 EFI Sno Pro that needs a new servo motor. I stole the working servo off of the 04 F6 and put it on my 07 F1000. That worked fine. Now I need to replace the servo on the 04. Will all servo motors work or are there some programming differences??

I bought a used servo on ebay that came off a ZR/ZL and installed it on my 04 F6. The service engine blinked 6 times telling me it was a servo motor failure. It wouldnt move when i throttled up - wide open. I bought it from a pretty reputable parts guy and he said if i send it back and exchange it for another one (all he has is Servos off ZR/ZL) that i will get the same service engine light. I know everything worked when i took the "good" one off the F6 to put on my F1000 so my guess is that i have a bad servo from the ebay guy. The servo motor has no "brains", it is being controlled and told to open from the ecu..?? So, any servo motor off any cat sled should work, right?

Servo

Does anyone know which wires on the servo are used to test resistance and what ohm reading i should get if the unit is properly working?? I put 12 volts aross the black/red & the red/black wires for power and the pulley & shaft spins properly both ways.

I got the servo to work. I did some research and found out there is a timing mark on the shaft and the housing. Those marks need to be lined up or close when you hook the cables up. When i initially hooked it up the pulley and shaft were 180 degrees off. Thats why i was getting the service engine light. Just a FYI for future users.
