Whats this I'm hearing?
only if the fed starts confiscating privet property . in the mid west any way the majority of the trail are on privet land .
not saying the gov will not start the proses but at that point sledding will be the least of any ones worry's
the reality is the sport is already on life support. just a matter of time till nothing but a few antiques used on privet land. the millennial kids don't even want to get a drivers license or a home let alone a north woods cabin or a truck trailer and 30k worth of junk to haul around and store. they feel they can get the whole snowmobile experience in a 15 second clip on there phone on there walk from the rented loft to get a 13 buck cup of crappy tasting coffee . come on a snowmobile do u have any idea how far out from there "safe zone" that would take them
Come on guys plenty of good used iron out there for sale. If you can't afford truck & trailer then why bitch just rent & be done.

It is not the guys on a sled site in Aug that will be the ones dropping out from cost . but I can tell u a lot of the young guys who work for me or there buds have 0 desire to drop $$ on sleds .the very few who do buy beaters to ride around the house and to take out the ice shack .
I do agree not a lot of Indy 500s out there coming thru the snomo door but that is their choice to not pursue sleddin.... they do buy lots of pick up trucks not sure why they don't get into snowmobiling?
pretty ez to see. young family's and the amount of time they can actually use them. heck most of the D B millennial kids want to live in a city not many options to sled from the door . the ones I know spend there money on trips to warm places and eating and drinking out .
