Jakester & family: Odd how it happened but your Christmas pic on our wall just caught my eye yesterday-giving me a smile and then I checked our e-mails last night as well as jdee and found the messages from you.
I smiled at the card remembering when you were here in a different season and I had looked out my window to see Cooper hugging Kruppy. That was so heart warming and I've told many people about it. If you stood Cooper on top of the snow out there now, Kruppy would be getting a neck hug instead of a belly hug. Love to you all.

All I can say is these trails = Big grins. Got up here today and went for a ride from Krupp's up to Gay, and every trail was smooth as can be. Saw a total of 10 sleds on the trail, and 3 groomers. Looks like 3-6 system snow tomorrow, and then a foot of LES following. :D

Offer still stands--we've gotten "alot" of new snow. Not inches--feet. I believe its making up for the last 2 years when we lost snow in early March.

Just came back from a ride from Krupps to Lac Labelle, the entire area has new snow ranging from 6 inch new snow around Lake Lindon this morning, about 8" in Lac Labelle at noon, and about 12" in Calumet around 4 PM then when we got just south of Houghton snow started getting deep. Guessing about 12"+ all of these numbers are guesses as the wind it really whipping it around. As we got to South Range at abut 6:30 PM the tracks ahead of us were all on the left side of trail so we were busting about 18 to 24 inches on the trail with over the hood snow, and occasional drifts 4 foot high... Most fun I have had on the trail in years. Today we saw 3 groomers and 5 snowmobiles. It is absolutely awesome conditions. If you can get up here, you will not regret it. This was a spur of the moment trip for us, and can not wipe the smiles off our faces. Wish I could share pictures, but as we were about to take some, found my phone battery was dead.
Added a few images not real representative of the conditions, but what I had before battery went dead. IMG_20130319_185109.jpg IMG_20130319_101801.jpg IMG_20130319_185054.jpg
