Just came back from a ride from Krupps to Lac Labelle, the entire area has new snow ranging from 6 inch new snow around Lake Lindon this morning, about 8" in Lac Labelle at noon, and about 12" in Calumet around 4 PM then when we got just south of Houghton snow started getting deep. Guessing about 12"+ all of these numbers are guesses as the wind it really whipping it around. As we got to South Range at abut 6:30 PM the tracks ahead of us were all on the left side of trail so we were busting about 18 to 24 inches on the trail with over the hood snow, and occasional drifts 4 foot high... Most fun I have had on the trail in years. Today we saw 3 groomers and 5 snowmobiles. It is absolutely awesome conditions. If you can get up here, you will not regret it. This was a spur of the moment trip for us, and can not wipe the smiles off our faces. Wish I could share pictures, but as we were about to take some, found my phone battery was dead.
Added a few images not real representative of the conditions, but what I had before battery went dead.
