Are you kidding me?

This is the ridiculously high end... just because it's not your market doesn't mean it shouldn't exist. Heck, it's only ~3x the costs of a normal top end sled so it's like comparing a mustang to a porsche 911.

and to answer your question: yes, they're serious.

Can't believe anyone would sink over $60,000 into a sled, then sell it, or, should I say, try to sell it for $32,000. Rediculous! :rolleyes:Maybe I should talk to the wife about this one! Makes the $12,000 sticker that I have considered look like pocket change.-Mezz

I was thinking the same thing which is why i edited my post. What a shocker though. The seller probably races for a living and I guess he has to spend money to make money.

I bet he is probably going to invest in a new 1100 Turbo Cat and make that a monster hill climber

Dunno what these folks do for a living, but clearly it's paying for the habit... that or they extend the heck out of themselves. While we were out west this year there was a huge group of nothing but turbos running around the lodge. The group had a big ol trailer being pulled by one of those GMC TopKicks all customized. Sweet rig... they had several thousands into the whole set-up. Amazing amounts of $$.

Yeah and look how many people are bidding on it! ZERO! He'll be lucky to pull $10,000 out of that sled. But if he had it to spend then probably no big deal to him but most custom mtn sleds I see end up going for dirt cheap compared to what they dumped into them.

Come on guys, you have to read the fine print

free delivery included (3,000 miles to say Milwaukee) $800
barrel of race fuel (assuming a real barrel at 55 gallons) $600
tons of spare arctic cat parts (priceless and necessary)

Looks like a steal :)

I bet it is a blast to ride anyway!

Instead of this sled you could buy a house in White Pine and a new 1100 Turbo, and still have $1000 left for beer and gas!

It would easily cost 60,000 to have a sled like that built professionally. 30,000 easy if you did all of your own wrenching. WICKED ride!

Not so far out of the relm of $'s vs Fun !!!

Every body has different levels of disposable income. Let them enjoy it and applaud them for spending money!!!! This one costs 1/2 of what I paid for my 1st house and to be perfectly honest those big HP sleds are awesome to ride.

I have 3 thought's or reason's for selling this sled.

1. That money is not an issue. And if so, Good for him. Better the sled companies than the Greenies.

2. Maybe the wife want's him to sell it. And he put his price tag on it. "Honey it should sell this week on ebay". NOT

3. He need's to renew his intrest in snowmobiling every year or every other, to be the "GUY" with the trick sled. Look at the question's on his listing. I posted a reason for selling, We will have to wait for the response.
