Jeez Louise! I'm gone for a week and the place falls apart. Yamaha calls it quits, Coke in the White House, and a strong El Nino is brewing. I think I got back just in time. I'm not gonna lie, one of the highlights of my vacation in northern Wisconsin was visiting the Snowmobile Hall of Fame between St. Germain and Minocqua on Hwy 70. My wife wanted to shop in Minocqua so she did her thing and I did mine. I've posted pix over on the Vintage Forum. I would've posted sooner but when we got back my computer had crashed, took it in for repairs and we're back up and running now. Another highlight was tending bar for the Lion's Club in my hometown on the 4th. My dad was a charter member so we sibs feel obligated and it was good to reconnect with the locals again. The cabin we stayed at was on the water and our dog was in heaven, morning, noon, and night on Lake Solberg, we wore that dog out. She had her first encounter with a deer and she slept for two days after we got home.
They say, "a tired dog is a happy dog" and I guess we've got a happy one. It's good to be back home and returning to my routine. If you like the "Old Iron" swing by the Vintage Page for pictures.
