are u kidding my whole life the aarp crowd always had the best connections.
most of the yammi crews spent there 20s at a time lsd was used at almost all psychiatrist offices and sold over the counter at head shops next to the Quaaludes.
I have met very few retirees who wont have a toke from time to time.

Hey Man.......Those dudes...were like....tripping Man. Cool! (Good point those 4 stroker, Cheech and Chong'ers were teens back then.) That's groovy and all. Peace out! Hendricks for Prez!

Right now there is someone sitting on a Yamaha, with a saddle bag full of Doritos, who is just bumming.

This thread has been great fun but things have changed in USA. Nationally 52-55% want pot legalized & already legal in CO. To me tax the crap out of legal pot then generates jobs & much needed tax revenue + we get it off black market. Prohibition was a bad law & waste of LEO resources let them deal with the more serious crimes.

Here's the problem I have with that. Would you want to have a person smoking a joint during their lunch break and then design a bridge after lunch. Not saying it doesn't happen now, but with it legal people have different attitudes about their rights. With medical marijuana legal in Illinois next year, we're looking into putting a person on it on indefinite medical leave without pay until they are off if it for at least 30 days. We cannot take the risk of having a design flaw caused by someone on medical marijuana. QC/QA and potential design flaws are bad enough as it is.

Why would anyone smoke or eat pot & then build a bridge? If you want to think the worst of people ok with me but pot so easy to get what's diff just legal? If bridge designer going to use on job he/she is already using it. You are way over concerned most people are very responsible & will continue to be on the job.

I have no desire to start a debate on the leagalization of pot, but your post seems kind of irrational to me. How is pot being legal any different from alcohol being legal? The same guy that smokes a joint on lunch break can just as easily have downded a 5th of Jack. You show up to work intoxicated on any kind of substance, you most likely no longer have a job! At least I would hope not!

Exactly you are answering your own question but don't see it. Drinking or pot whatever is about choices just that easy.
