Its a lot of different riding weekends are just packed too much traffic for me. I would stay in a town near Baldwin its not the best. I am going to do a trip to that area end of January ,
That's like blasphemy on these boards. There is nothing greater than the UP.
T-bone, we have reservations for next weekend just north of Baldwin, also looking for a change of scenery. I have been watching the grooming reports for Baldwin and Cadillac, and both say trails are Good to Great. Lots of snow just to the North.

So why wouldn't I like the area?You won't like the Baldwin/irons/Cadillac area, you better just stick to the UP
Drove through baldwin this morn on way home from wellston. Much less snow in baldwin than up in wellston and points north and west. North of wellston up near thompsonville the snow is atleast 3’ deep off the trail. Id say 12-14” down around Baldwin and less east/south. 18” around wellston.
I'm just messin' with ya! We are in kaleva eating lunch as we speak. Heading up through t-ville and gonna try to make it all the way to Maple city before heading back. Trails are nothing short of amazing! Groomed last night then a couple inches of heavy system snow. Flat and fast!
